The Rare Breeds show is a treat, not only the cattle market area with all the various sheep breeds on show, we have the huge fleece tables heaving with nice clean fleece from this years shearing, such a lot to choose from, I found a lovely soft Galway fleece on the judging table, I eventually found it was for sale and is now waiting in line, I did a little skein to check how good it is and will get back to spinning the rest of it soon, it weighs 10lbs so it will make useful stash for knitting,
Also at the show are cattle of all kinds and the Fur and Feather with all the chickens in their fancy dress, black and white with polka dots and others in frilly white pantaloons, lovely to see such pretty chickens.
On the way home we couldn't possibly miss a visit into the local Pork Pie shop. much more than pies on sale.
